A fanlisting is a place for all fans of a particular show, movie, actor/actress, singer, etc. to come together and build the biggest listing of people from all around the world who are fans of that subject.

These two characters don't appear in the anime version of Fullmetal Alchemist, so don't bother looking for them. They're manga-only. Ling Yao is the twelfth son of the Emperor of Xing, an Eastern country, while Lan Fan is one of his two bodyguards, a part of a family that had served the Ling clan for generations. They have traveled to Amestris (the country where the story takes place) in order to find the way of immortality.

They first appear in volume 8, chapter 32, "Envoy to the East".

Ling is 15 years old, and he has an easy-going, yet ambitious personality. He takes advantage of other characters, and he's certainly hilarious. He tends to faint in random places and get lost from his companions. Lan Fan is a stoic warrior, yet she's incredibly shy to the point of wearing her battle mask all the time. She's hot-tempered, stubborn, and loyal to her young master.
